Connections..

U’re walking on the road..there are many other people walking along..Forget the name,u have absolutely no clue who they are. Then,u do something instinctively..U give them a smile..and voila…u have the connection..Now,u are a part of their life..If not forever, for that moment,u are someone who’s spreading cheer in their lyfe..U infuse da ‘cheer germ’ into them and they smile at somebody else and now,u have ur beautiful smile spreading across, swiftly, and bringing along with it a moment of cheer….
I recently saw the video of A.R.Rahman’s Jiya se Jiya..where they offer ‘free hugs’..The idea seemed simply brilliant..connectivity at it’s best!!!There can be nothing more healing than a smile and a hug at times when u need it!!!..I really don’t know if I’m sticking to one particular topic, but den I just felt like writing about this today…We have even been reading in da papers about about the proven scientific and medical reports that declare the healing power of a smile..Show some compassion when someone needs it and only u know how wonderful u feel seeing the effect it has on the other person.
I was feeling really low today..My day at college didn’t go so well and not going into the details,I felt terribly lost at the end of the day when I was all alone when I needed people the most.Nothing significant happened and maybe it was my 'over-expectancy' that was reacting, but I was lost..Before I knew it,I was in tears and my hand-kerchief was totally wet by the time I reached my stop..It’s a terrible feeling when u are feeling really low and the situation is such that u have nobody to talk to..hmm..practically speaking,I didn’t have balance in my fone to make STD calls and the few calls I tried making to reach someone went futile..It was a terrible bus ride back home..I was down in the dumps when I caught this smile being sent my way…
I was walking hurriedly to reach home so that I could bawl away comfortably when I was held back by an angel..my angel..my sweetheart..Alan…Seeing him brought fresh tears but then the boy just an year old did something which made up for the terrible day..He gave me one of his killer smiles and then planted a kiss on my cheek..and then I got hugs from the people who were down in the building..Some of them whom I’ve known since I was a kid and some people whose names I didn’t know..and then with alan on my lap, I was smiling and we both kept giving each other a “ur turn” smile until I knew that everything would be fine…
I’m not sure about what I really sat down to write, about compassion, about a smile, about a hug…but then..it really dosen’t matter..I feel better just putting dis down and until then..be compassionate and be generous wid ur smile…U have no clue abt the power of it.[:)].[:)]

in the present world, where humanity is at historical low, these gestures show us a way into future, there is a similar anecdote which i read recently about the power of love.....where atleast once say the words "i love you",to your peers, friends and kins see the difference.....these three words are the key to egoless relationship and usefull for appesing the gree eyed monster(jealously)...in your friends give it a shot.
personally speaking, the work which you have done is great.keep going.i wish i had time to publish my blog

i like dis piece but i don't really agree with it...we're talking abt da selfless healing of love..but wen u smile at sm1 coz u wanna do them something, it becomes sm sort of an ehsaan and the smile looses its sheen...maybe im wrong..maybe im cynical but id rather face da world as it is..no phony smiles in mah dictionary..but nthn agianst alan..kids r relli pure and its relli amusing to c kids smile wid da queer sound of deirs...and folks, dat someone mentioned was me, jst in case sm of u dont realise...

ah..no phony smiles aditya...smiles which u feel like giving 'instinctively'..no force..and i also don't agree wid da concept of smiling at someone because u want something done...it's abt smiles which u really feel like giving..dat's it!
